Contemporary Signage for Church of Scotland New Build
Dunfermline East is a new Church of Scotland church designed along contemporary lines and styling. To match the contemporary architecture of the church, its colour pallete and construction, Keillor Graphics put forward a simple yet striking solution to brand/identify the building. The end result was the use of a two large crosses in brushed stainless steel, one positioned next to the name of the church on one elevation and other, a much larger cross positioned on the bigger of the two elevations. The stainless steel crosses formed a striking combination with the walls of the church which are in a dark terracotta finish. The main signage was complemented with smaller stand alone signage to the entrance to the building, utilising clever design with contemporary materials. The construction and project management of the new church building was handled by Muirfield Construction.
